How engagements work

Scope, build, launch, support

The process does not change based on project size. What changes is how much of it applies.

STEP 01

Scope conversation

You describe the business, the customers, and the outcome you need. I ask the questions that decide what should actually be built.

STEP 02

Written proposal

You receive a plain-language proposal: page structure, functionality, revision rounds, schedule, price, and what is explicitly not included.

STEP 03

Design and structure approval

Architecture and visual direction are reviewed and approved before development starts, so changes are cheap at this stage.

STEP 04

Development and review

The site or application is built on a staging environment you can review at any time, with progress updates at agreed milestones.

STEP 05

Launch and handover

Deployment, redirects, metadata, forms, and analytics checks are completed, then you receive access, documentation, and optional support.

Standards

What you can hold the studio to

These are commitments about process, not promises about outcomes. Outcomes depend on the market, the offer, and the work your business does after launch.

  • Scope and price agreed in writing before work starts
  • Staging links so you can review progress as it happens
  • Direct communication with the developer building your project
  • Third-party costs identified up front instead of appearing later

Working hours and communication

The studio operates from Poland and schedules calls to overlap with your working day in US time zones. Day-to-day communication runs through email, with short scheduled calls at decision points.

Questions

Before you request a quote

Who will actually build my project?

Ilia Rudich — the founder. Milux Ventures is a founder-led studio, so the person you talk to is the person designing, developing, and launching your project. There is no account manager layer in between.

Where is Milux Ventures located?

The studio is operated from Poland and works remotely with clients across the United States and internationally. There is no US office, and no local presence is implied. Because everything runs in writing, no call is needed and no time difference has to be arranged around.

How do we communicate during a project?

In writing. You describe the project, I reply with questions or a scoped proposal, and everything after that — scope, revisions, schedule, and price — is confirmed in writing. No calls and no meetings are required at any stage, and progress updates arrive as written messages.

Do you only work with clients in the United States?

The United States is the primary market, and California is the current campaign focus area. Projects elsewhere in the US and internationally are welcome where the fit is good.

What is the smallest project you take on?

Website projects start at $1,990. The studio is set up for serious commercial work rather than one-off pages, so projects that need only a single page or a template install are usually better served elsewhere.

How are payments and invoicing handled?

Eligible freelance projects are contracted and invoiced through Useme under the applicable transaction terms, with the invoicing entity and payment arrangements confirmed in writing before work begins. Milux Ventures is a brand operated by Ilia Rudich, an individual freelancer not a US-registered corporation.
